VoiceSnap ("we", "our", or "the app") is a mobile application developed by Waadrarii. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use VoiceSnap.
Summary
VoiceSnap processes all photos and audio locally on your device. We do not upload your photos, voice recordings, or creations to any server. The only data transmitted externally is anonymous usage analytics and subscription status.
Information We Collect
Information You Provide
We do not require you to create an account or provide any personal information to use VoiceSnap. The app operates anonymously.
Device Permissions
VoiceSnap requests the following device permissions, only when needed:
- Microphone — to record voice messages onto your photos
- Camera — to take photos directly within the app
- Photo Library (Read) — to select existing photos from your library
- Photo Library (Write) — to save your finished creations to your gallery
These permissions are requested at the point of use and can be revoked at any time through your device settings. All photo and audio processing happens entirely on your device.
Analytics Data
We use PostHog (hosted in the EU at eu.i.posthog.com) to collect anonymous usage analytics. This includes:
- App events such as screens viewed, features used, and export actions
- No personally identifiable information is collected
- No photos, audio, or user-generated content is transmitted

Subscription Data
We use RevenueCat to manage in-app subscriptions. RevenueCat processes:
- Purchase transactions through Apple's App Store
- Subscription status (active, expired, trial)
- Anonymous customer identifiers

Information We Do Not Collect
- We do not collect your name, email, or contact information
- We do not access or upload your photos or audio recordings to any server
- We do not use cookies or web tracking
- We do not share data with advertisers
- We do not use your content for any purpose other than local on-device processing
Data Storage
All your photos, voice recordings, and creations are stored locally on your device. We do not operate servers that store user content. App preferences (such as onboarding completion status) are stored locally using on-device storage.

Children's Privacy
VoiceSnap does not knowingly collect information from children under the age of 13. The app does not require any personal information to function.
Data Deletion
Since VoiceSnap does not collect personal data or require accounts, there is no personal data stored on our servers to delete. To remove all app data from your device, simply uninstall the app.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
